 Burritt's was conceived in the spring of 2006 with the purpose of reviving one of the beautiful small villages of Central New York.  Weedsport is located at exit #40 of the New York State Thruway and adjacent to the Old Erie Canal, which has becme a hot point of tourism for the area.  Our easy access from exit #40 enhances access to our venue of live local music for the entire Finger Lakes Region.

We chose to design and build an environment which would be a comfortable setting for patrons to relax and reconnect with others in the community.  Burritt's is an intentional response to our hurry-up, fast paced world of stamped out eateries that are designed to only give you 15 minutes of seating comfort.  Our decor of murals, 1800's salvaged woodwork and antiques brings together a mix that will awaken your senses in a way most establishments no longer do.

Burritt's is owned by Darryl Wolford and Sherry Saben-Wolford who both are native to this area of the Finger Lakes. They have taken bits and pieces from their life travels and incorporated them into their approach to the cafe business.

 

Darryl and Sherry's love of music has come together in this non-alcoholic venue to provide the area's largest setting for an eclectic mix of acoustic music. Performers from the surrounding communities are touting Burritt's as "The place to play!!"
